About the Role
We are recruiting for a Senior Product Designer to join us ASAP on a six-month contract. AND Digital is a tech company focused on accelerating digital delivery and closing the digital skills gap. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work across discovery and delivery phases, co-owning discovery with Product teams to understand customer problems, business goals, and opportunities. You will use research and insights to inform design decisions, including usability testing, journey mapping, problem framing, and insight review. Your role will involve translating customer insights, product requirements, and business priorities into clear, simple, and effective design solutions.

You will create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity app designs, designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences using an existing design system while evolving it to meet app-specific needs. Simplifying complex journeys and optimising existing features based on customer needs, product goals, and delivery constraints will be key. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and developers to shape requirements, align on solutions, and support smooth delivery.

We value collaborative team players who actively seek feedback and contribute to a strong design culture. Clear communication of design thinking, rationale, and customer insight to different stakeholders is essential. You will be highly organised in Figma, maintaining strong file hygiene, clear naming, versioning, component usage, and up-to-date designs.

Experience
- Strong experience as a Senior Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role
- Proven experience designing customer-facing mobile app experiences
- Confident working across discovery and delivery phases
- Skilled in using research and insight to inform design decisions including usability testing, journey mapping, and problem framing
- Strong UI, interaction, and visual design skills with ability to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Experience designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences using design systems
- Ability to simplify complex journeys and optimise features based on customer needs and product goals
- Collaborative team player with experience working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and developers
- Clear communicator able to explain design thinking and customer insight to stakeholders
- Highly organised in Figma with strong file hygiene, naming conventions, versioning, and component usage

About you
- Enthusiastic and proactive with a strong design culture mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Nice to have: experience in travel, banking, fintech, or other complex app environments
- Familiarity with native iOS and Android design patterns is a plus
