About the Role
Global Tax Services is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Product Manager to define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for tax technology solutions supporting Amazon's global tax compliance obligations. This role acts as the strategic owner at the intersection of tax compliance, data infrastructure, and technology, translating complex tax requirements into scalable product solutions that enable long-term growth. The Product Manager will leverage comprehensive knowledge of global tax regulations (e.g. VAT/GST) and accounting principles, analyze and reconcile substantial datasets, and apply strong business acumen to drive process improvements and operational efficiency. This growing team values eagerness to learn tax technology, master ambiguity, improve existing tax processes, and contribute to shaping new ones. Key responsibilities include owning the product roadmap for tax data and reporting solutions, defining business requirements, partnering with engineering teams, managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, serving as a strategic business partner across tax, finance, and operations, and driving product adoption and change management through defined KPIs and outcome metrics.
Experience
- Proven experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery and feature tradeoffs
- Experience as a product manager or product owner
- Experience managing product cycles of 6+ months
- Background in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology

- Ability to partner with and influence business stakeholders on strategic programs
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Preferred fields: business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions is a plus
- Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
