About the Role
The AI Conversational Shopping team is seeking a Senior Product Manager fluent in Brazilian Portuguese to lead efforts in delivering seamless, fluent, and locally relevant AI-assisted shopping experiences in new marketplaces and languages. You will join the high-performing team behind Rufus and Amazon's broader Generative AI shopping initiatives, aiming to help customers worldwide find and discover the best products through product research, comparisons, recommendations, and answering specific product questions.
This high-visibility, cross-functional role requires collaboration and influence across global product, design, science, and engineering teams to support evaluation, automation, and curation efforts in the AI development process. You will curate and evaluate content, define language and evaluation guidelines, uphold response quality, analyze error patterns, and guide prompt tuning frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:
- Curate and evaluate short-form content to assess, optimize, and train AI models
- Define and align global stakeholders on language and evaluation guidelines for Generative AI shopping experiences
- Use customer feedback to drive continuous improvements in team processes
- Analyze root causes of errors and propose solutions to improve evaluation and annotation quality
- Design and apply frameworks for prompt tuning and management
- Collaborate with product, science, and engineering teams to prioritize projects and launch new AI features internationally

Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Proven track record of end-to-end product delivery
- Experience managing feature delivery and product tradeoffs
- Background as a product manager or product owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Familiarity with product cycles of 6+ months
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology

Qualifications
