About the Role
At Expedia Group, we help travelers explore the world, one journey at a time. As a global travel company powered by passionate people, trusted partnerships, and leading technology, we connect travelers, partners, and advertisers through our consumer brands, B2B network, and travel advertising business. Here, you'll do meaningful work that helps millions of people discover, book, and experience travel with more ease, confidence, and joy. Our five Behaviors - Traveler First, Think Big, Operate with Excellence, Ownership Mindset, and Succeed Together - foster a supportive environment where people can grow their careers and have the flexibility, benefits, and support to do their best work. Join us and build for travelers everywhere.

Room selection is one of the highest stakes and most consequential moments when booking travel - the point where browsing turns into commitment. Expedia Group is building the next generation of Room Shopping experiences that help travelers confidently choose the right room for their trip, while enabling partners to showcase their properties effectively across Expedia's Travel Marketplace. As traveler expectations rise and room and rate inventory grows more complex, this experience is evolving into a more personalized, adaptive part of the shopping journey.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of the Room Shopping Experience. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for room shopping capabilities - from discovery and traveler journey mapping, through experimentation, launch, adoption, and measurement. Working closely with design, engineering, MLS, analytics, brands, supply, and other partner teams, you will translate traveler insights into clear product requirements. You will operate at a Senior PM level: setting a multi-year, multi-brand strategy for our room shopping experience, leading multi-team programs, and mentoring other product managers across the ecosystem.

At the heart of this role is a simple customer promise: help travelers quickly find the room that best fits their needs - not just everything that's available. You'll build experiences that recommend the best match, make options easy to compare, and give travelers the confidence to book, whether they're booking one room or several.

Requirements

Experience
- 8+ years (Bachelor's) or 6+ years (Master's) of product management experience for consumer-facing or e-commerce products, with a track record of owning products or customer journeys end-to-end - from discovery through launch and optimization
- Proven track record using data, analytics, and experimentation to make product decisions, including defining success metrics, running A/B tests, and iterating based on quantitative and qualitative insights
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, analytics, business stakeholders) to deliver roadmap outcomes within a defined product area, service, or journey
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products in support of better recommendations, relevance, or personalization

About you
- Strategic thinker with the ability to define and evolve product vision, strategy, and roadmap for complex, multi-brand experiences
- Strong collaborator who partners effectively with design, engineering, analytics, marketing, and partner teams
- Data-driven decision maker who uses experimentation frameworks and analytics to validate hypotheses and optimize product outcomes
- Experienced in leading multi-team programs and mentoring other product managers
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on operational excellence and emerging AI capabilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience in digital product management
- Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience building and scaling complex, high-traffic consumer shopping or booking experiences
- Experience leading product strategy for multi-step customer journeys and optimizing funnel performance through experimentation
- Strong ability to partner with engineering and data teams on technical trade-offs, experimentation design, and integration of AI/ML enabled capabilities that safely improve customer outcomes
- Experience driving continuous improvement in operational excellence, including monitoring, quality, and reliability of the end-to-end shopping experience
