About the Role
As a Senior Programme Officer supporting Job Evaluation Engagement within the NHS, you will assist in delivering agreed work programmes and ensure timely completion of relevant reporting. Under the oversight of the head of team, you will provide secretariat services to networks and maintain oversight of all team activities, including planning, delivery, follow-up actions, note-taking, communications, resources, briefings, attendance, and evaluation.
For in-person events, you will coordinate venue arrangements, logistics, hospitality, and provide technical support. You will capture, record, and collate information and good practice from stakeholders, summarising data to identify trends and insights that inform product and policy development.
You will ensure effective and timely communications to stakeholders, signposting relevant resources, and support engagement activities through desk research and detailed briefings. Maintaining accurate records of contacts and activities will be essential to analyse and report on work progress.
Leading the assessment of evaluation and impact, you will collate feedback and support adaptations to meet commissioner and stakeholder needs. Acting as an initial contact for engagement queries, you will provide advice, respond to straightforward enquiries, and draft responses for complex questions.
You will identify and utilise collaboration opportunities to support programme delivery and project manage specific workstreams, including the job evaluation regional support offer.
Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships internally and externally, including NHS trade unions, you will collaborate across teams to listen to views and shape future programme development. This role is key to representing the employer position clearly and understanding how current policies impact employers, contributing to national discussions and negotiations.
