About the Role
The Economist Educational Foundation is seeking a Senior Programmes Manager on a fixed-term contract to lead and manage key educational initiatives. This role involves overseeing the development, delivery, and evaluation of programmes that support young people’s learning and engagement with current affairs and economics. You will work closely with partners and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of projects, driving impact and innovation within the Foundation’s portfolio. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful educational change in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in managing educational or social programmes, preferably within the charitable or educational sector. Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

About you
Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Passionate about education and social impact with a commitment to the Foundation’s mission.

Qualifications
A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in education, social sciences, project management, or related fields is desirable.
