The Avigilon Alta Video UI team is responsible for the mission-critical infrastructure powering our Video Management System (VMS). We are evolving our platform to support deep-tier interconnection across the Motorola product portfolio, prioritizing high-performance engineering, architectural integrity, and reliability.

As a Senior Software Engineer focused on frontend development, you will analyze, design, develop, and maintain software for our products and systems. Your responsibilities include system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and consistency, developing and validating user documentation, architecting and implementing complex state management patterns, and building robust API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem.

You will optimize delivery by contributing to CI/CD pipelines and leveraging Firebase services for rapid, reliable feature deployment. Our frontend stack includes Vue 3, Pinia, and TypeScript, while the backend uses Go. We value engineering fundamentals over specific library knowledge and seek a seasoned developer who can navigate complex logic, manage sophisticated state, and help steer our architecture forward.

Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on modern frontend architecture
- Proven ability to manage intricate application states and data flows (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, or Redux)
- Deep understanding of consuming RESTful APIs and hands-on experience with Firebase and CI/CD workflows
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern CSS/HTML
- Strong foundation in design patterns and ability to drive architectural changes across large codebases
- Demonstrated team player skills and willingness to mentor others
