The Avigilon Alta Video UI team is responsible for the mission-critical infrastructure powering our Video Management System (VMS). We are evolving our platform to support deep-tier interconnection across the Motorola product portfolio, prioritizing high-performance engineering, architectural integrity, and reliability in real-time tools.

As a Senior Software Engineer focused on frontend development, you will analyze, design, develop, and maintain software for our products and systems. Your responsibilities include system integration of software and hardware, developing and validating user documentation, architecting and implementing complex state management patterns, and robust API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem. You will optimize delivery by contributing to CI/CD pipelines and leveraging Firebase services for rapid, reliable feature deployment.

Our technology stack features Vue 3, Pinia, and TypeScript on the frontend and Go on the backend. While specific library knowledge is valuable, we emphasize strong engineering fundamentals. You will work in a collaborative environment that embraces hybrid working and values mentoring and architectural leadership.

Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on modern frontend architecture
- Proven ability to manage complex application states and data flows using tools such as Pinia, Vuex, or Redux
- Deep understanding of consuming RESTful APIs and hands-on experience with Firebase and CI/CD workflows
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern CSS/HTML
- Strong foundation in design patterns and experience driving architectural changes across large codebases
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and mentor team members
