About the Role
Innovation is at the core of SAP Fioneer, a company dedicated to advancing financial services through cutting-edge software solutions and platforms. As a Senior Solution Manager, you will join a dynamic global team working at the intersection of business and AI technology. Your primary focus will be identifying AI-enabled opportunities and driving their implementation within core banking processes such as accounts, loans, and payments. You will collaborate closely with senior business and product stakeholders as well as technical teams including AI engineers, architects, and developers. Your role involves understanding business needs, deriving and prioritizing requirements, and translating them into both business and technical designs.

Success in this role requires hands-on experience with current AI technologies and a clear understanding of how AI can generate business value in banking. A foundational knowledge of IT architectures, ideally including SAP, will enable you to effectively bridge business and technical teams. You will be part of a cross-functional, international team working closely with customers to co-create innovative solutions. Strong communication, collaboration, and flexibility are essential.

Key responsibilities include identifying AI innovation opportunities across core banking processes, gathering and prioritizing business and technical requirements, translating business goals into technical designs, creating and running solution demos and prototypes, leading workshops, and acting as a connector between business and technical experts. You will also take hands-on ownership of prototype creation using AI tools and contribute to the configuration and improvement of AI agents.

Experience
- 5+ years in roles such as AI Solution Manager, Business Technology Analyst, Consultant, Product Owner, or similar hybrid positions, ideally within banking or financial services (experience outside FS considered if paired with relevant AI expertise)
- Hands-on experience with AI-related solutions and innovation initiatives, including AI model configuration, prompt engineering, data interaction, and collaboration with development teams
- Solid understanding of core banking processes around accounts, loans, deposits, and payments preferred
- Familiarity with banking system landscapes and architecture is a plus; experience with SAP Fioneer Core Banking systems or other SAP systems is highly advantageous
