About the Role
Would you like to shape the future of cloud computing by identifying and working with the most promising early-stage startups and venture capital firms in the UK and Ireland? As a Senior Startup Investor Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will build strong relationships with venture capital firms and angel investors to accelerate the success of their portfolio companies. You will help unlock the potential of startups by enabling faster innovation and scaling through AWS cloud infrastructure.
Your role involves creating and executing investor-focused programs, implementing tailored solutions to meet startup and investor needs, and collaborating across AWS Startups, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams. You will monitor program effectiveness, gather early-stage market signals, and advise portfolio companies on optimizing their cloud architecture and go-to-market strategies.

Experience
- 6+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in a startup or technology company
About you
Strong technical understanding of cloud and emerging technologies such as generative AI combined with business acumen. Ability to build and maintain partner-level relationships with venture capital firms and investors. Skilled at interpreting data and making business recommendations. Collaborative mindset to work across multiple teams and initiatives. Passionate about supporting startups and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
