About the Role
Amazon's network is a key differentiator for Amazon Cloud Computing and Web Services (AWS), enabling the global operation of thousands of applications across hundreds of thousands of servers worldwide. As AWS regions continue to grow, we are seeking a networks-focused Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to execute and deliver innovative solutions and help build the largest network in the world.

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual customer access to innovation. You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers.

In this role, you will lead multiple simultaneous networking programs in a highly cross-functional environment involving internal customers, network engineering, deployment and operations teams, as well as external vendors. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget, managing capital budgets, eliminating non-value-add activities, and accelerating project delivery creatively. You will communicate technical concepts effectively, identify implementation issues, and work closely with technical teams to remove barriers to success.

Your technical background in networking engineering will enable you to visualize network solutions, ensure safe delivery into production environments, and earn the respect of engineers. Experience with large-scale networks and network automation is a strong advantage. You will foster a collaborative environment with friendliness, respect, and integrity while navigating ambiguity with maturity. Your focus will always be on delivering the best outcomes for customers, supporting Amazon's mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company.

To be considered for this role, you must be a UK national and able to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Clearance.

Experience
- Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale technical infrastructure programs
- Experience in data center or network capacity planning, infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields
- Skilled in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
- Experience working with large-scale networks and network automation/provisioning systems is highly desirable

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related field
- Prior experience in a networking engineering role providing technical depth and understanding of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting
