About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead and drive innovative local marketing strategies for theatrical releases across the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Theatrical Marketing UK, this role combines strategic leadership with deep analytical expertise to develop comprehensive campaigns that maximize audience engagement and box office performance.
Key responsibilities include strategic planning and budget management for multiple high-profile releases, developing territory-wide marketing strategies and long-term activation roadmaps, and conducting advanced local market analysis and competitive intelligence.
You will establish campaign KPIs and success metrics in partnership with senior leadership, drive innovation in audience engagement methodologies and emerging marketing technologies, and mentor junior marketing managers on strategic thinking and campaign development.
In addition, you will provide creative leadership across all marketing assets and brand touchpoints, oversee localization strategies, ensure brand consistency, and lead relationships with creative partners and agencies.
The role also involves developing comprehensive media strategies spanning traditional, digital, and emerging platforms, leading negotiations with media agencies, cultivating brand collaborations, and optimizing media spend efficiency.
You will conceptualize and execute large-scale special projects, premieres, and marquee events, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and lead cross-functional initiatives with Content Managers, PR, Digital, and International partners.
Providing strategic guidance to distribution teams, driving organizational alignment on campaign priorities, mentoring junior team members, and championing creative excellence and innovative problem-solving are also key aspects of this role.
Experience
- Proven track record managing complex marketing campaigns across multiple projects simultaneously
- Deep expertise in integrated marketing across traditional, digital, and experiential channels
- Advanced stakeholder management skills with internal leadership and external partners
- Experience managing budgets and strategic planning for theatrical releases
- Experience with international marketing coordination and localization strategies preferred
- Proven innovation in marketing technology and emerging platforms preferred
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility experience preferred
