The Global Trading team executes flow across all asset classes and regions on behalf of Man Group’s investment engines, operating from five global hubs including London.

The Senior Trader will be a critical member of the trading desk, responsible for the efficient and cost-effective execution of orders across multiple asset classes. Working closely with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, and technologists, the role ensures best execution while contributing market intelligence and strategic insight to the broader investment process. This senior position requires deep market expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of both systematic and discretionary trading environments.

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with global policies and procedures, improving best execution processes, evaluating broker and venue performance, delivering market intelligence, leveraging trading technology to automate workflows, and supporting operational trade matching and workflow efficiency. The role also involves mentoring junior traders and collaborating across teams to optimize execution outcomes.

Experience
Minimum 6+ years of front-office trading experience, preferably within buy-side hedge fund or asset management environments. Proven experience trading Corporate Cash Credit, illiquid Investment Grade, High Yield and/or Emerging Markets with a focus on best execution. Significant experience sourcing liquidity and managing broker/counterparty relationships at a senior level. Proficient with Bloomberg Terminal and major OMS/EMS platforms such as FlexTrade, Charles River, MarketAxess, and TradeWeb. Strong understanding of transaction cost analysis (TCA) tools and methodologies. Familiarity with electronic trading venues, FIX protocol, and market data infrastructure. Python skills are desirable.

Qualifications
