As a Senior Training Specialist within the AGI-DS organization, you will deliver an exceptional blended learning experience. This role involves planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing end-to-end training programs. You will work closely with the Training Manager to track and drive training completion through the Learning Management System (LMS), while supporting Training Specialists in their tasks.
You will also identify site-level improvement opportunities and drive innovation in training approaches, aiming to scale successful initiatives across Amazon's global network.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating classroom training following approved curriculum
- Maintaining theoretical proficiency and expertise in assigned trainings
- Managing the classroom environment to ensure productive learning
- Evaluating trainee performance daily and providing coaching and feedback
- Collaborating with Training Managers on trainee engagement and performance
- Managing LMS tasks such as enrolment, scheduling, and troubleshooting
- Publishing training reports according to standards
- Collecting and sharing feedback on training effectiveness
- Communicating progress and needs with relevant stakeholders
- Developing and documenting new processes to improve training delivery
- Supporting the Training Manager with delegated tasks to drive team training delivery
Experience
- Experience in Learning & Development and course facilitation or equivalent professional qualification
- Skilled in planning, creating, implementing, delivering, and assessing various types of training
- Experience with one-to-many and one-to-one communication in classroom and tutorial settings
- Experience working with remote teams
- Competent user of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience leading and coordinating peer groups
- Continuous improvement skills

- Strong communication skills for knowledge transfer and skill development, including explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers
- Knowledge of adult learning and training practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or significant experience in education or related field
- Proficiency in English verbal and written communication
- Learning/training experience and/or certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in German, French, Italian, or Portuguese (verbal and written)
- Working knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Captivate, Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or Flash
- Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter
- Experience working with a globally-distributed management organization
