About the Role
dunnhumby is the global leader in Customer Data Science, partnering with the world's most ambitious retailers and brands to put the customer at the heart of every decision. We combine deep insight, advanced technology, and close collaboration to help our clients grow, innovate, and deliver measurable value for their customers. With nearly 2,500 experts worldwide, we work with transformative, iconic brands such as Tesco, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Unilever, and Metro.

We are seeking a Senior User Researcher to join our team in an exciting opportunity to shape the future of retail data and work with market-leading retailers and suppliers. In this role, you will ensure our B2B products and services meet the needs of retailers, suppliers, and internal consultants by uncovering how they engage with our offerings and translating those insights into recommendations that influence strategy, product, and design decisions.

You will design and execute end-to-end research projects using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover user needs and behaviours. You will drive business impact by translating research findings into actionable insights that guide product strategy and roadmaps, influencing business, product, and design decisions. Your deliverables will include compelling reports, presentations, and workshops to communicate research insights effectively.

Collaboration is key, as you will work cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, and business teams to align efforts and foster collaboration in addressing client challenges. You will advocate for user-centricity by promoting the value of user research and evangelising insights to embed a user-centred mindset across teams and stakeholders.

Additionally, you will mentor colleagues on best practices for embedding research into product development and design processes, stay informed about industry trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve research impact, and leverage AI tools to accelerate research mechanics such as transcription, tagging, clustering, and synthesis, while personally validating outputs for accuracy.
