About the Role
Are you an operational leader with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and inspiring multidisciplinary teams? We are seeking an exceptional Service Manager to lead our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. You will work alongside expert clinicians and system partners to deliver safe, effective, and innovative community services that improve patient outcomes.
Working closely with the Clinical Lead and senior leadership team, you will provide operational leadership across the service, ensuring quality, performance, financial sustainability, and an outstanding patient experience. You will lead service transformation, workforce development, governance, and continuous improvement while building strong relationships with commissioners and healthcare partners.

Experience
Significant operational management experience in healthcare with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, delivering change, managing performance and budgets, and developing high-performing teams.
About you
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to communicate effectively on a range of issues, represent the service internally and externally, and engage in strategic discussions to influence commissioning decisions and pathway changes.
Strong commitment to staff engagement, workforce planning, service transformation, and continuous improvement.
Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and deliver cost improvement programmes.
Committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of safeguarding children and adults at risk, and complies with local safeguarding partnerships and professional duties.
Supports sustainability initiatives to minimise environmental impact.
Qualifications
A degree or equivalent qualification in a health or management-related subject is essential.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to Trust policies and procedures.
Must be able to maintain professional registration where relevant.
