About the Role
Join the L&Q Living Housing Management Team as a Sheltered Housing Assistant supporting residents aged 55 and over at the Cornell Court Extra Care scheme. You will be a key member of the Independent Living service, helping residents feel safe, secure, and empowered to live independently while delivering high-quality housing management services. Your responsibilities will include acting as the on-site representative, providing guidance and support to residents and their families, conducting health and safety inspections, monitoring site maintenance, reporting repairs, and working closely with contractors. You will also maintain accurate records, support policy implementation, and contribute to resolving tenancy concerns and anti-social behaviour in collaboration with the wider Housing Management team. This role requires a proactive approach to creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained community environment for residents.

Experience
Proven experience providing high-quality customer service in a resident-facing role, with the ability to handle sensitive issues empathetically and professionally.

A proactive and well-organised approach is essential, with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to connect with a diverse range of people and relay information clearly. Qualifications
