About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Manager to lead the retail operations at the Victoria and Albert Museum. This role involves managing day-to-day shop activities, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. You will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining stock levels, and creating an engaging shopping experience for visitors. The ideal candidate will be passionate about retail and the museum environment, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.

Experience
Proven experience in retail management, preferably within a museum, cultural institution, or similar environment. Strong background in team leadership, stock management, and customer service.

Organized, proactive, and customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Passionate about delivering high standards of retail experience and contributing to the museum’s mission.

Qualifications
Relevant retail management qualifications or equivalent experience are desirable but not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
