About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Site Acquisitions Manager to join the AWS Global Real Estate Team. In this role, you will shape and execute strategies to expand our Data Center portfolio and related infrastructure across EMEA. You will negotiate multi-million dollar real estate and infrastructure contracts, develop growth strategies for specific markets, and collaborate with internal stakeholders including product teams, energy, fiber, design, construction, legal, and tax. Your responsibilities will include managing the full lifecycle of real estate development transactions—from strategy and financial analysis to business term negotiation and legal support. You will also work closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and ensure delivery of projects including building, data center-specific power, and site utilities. This role requires managing multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously and preparing transaction summaries for senior management. Joining AWS Infrastructure Services means contributing to the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS’s global infrastructure, supporting data centers and all associated equipment to ensure continuous customer access to cloud innovation. Experience
- Proven experience in negotiation and selling
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Skilled in managing conflict, escalations, negotiating compromise, influencing others, and problem solving with engineering teams
