About the Role
We are seeking a Skills Centre Coordinator to join the National Theatre Skills Centre Learning Team. The role supports the delivery of Skills Centre courses and programmes by providing key administrative functions and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of projects from set up and recruitment through to evaluation. The Coordinator will also provide practical and pastoral support for participants and assist the technical, design, and craft specialists leading activities.
The role works collaboratively with colleagues to support existing programmes and new opportunities aligned with the Skills Centre strategy and ambitions. Based within the NT’s Learning department, the Skills Centre works closely with many other departments to build, support, deliver, and evaluate skills development activity across all areas of the National Theatre’s work. While focused on the Skills Centre, the role will also engage with wider Learning and organisational teams as required for programme operation and development.

Requirements

Experience
Wide-ranging administrative experience in a professional organisation including proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams, and database packages. Experience with Airtable is especially welcome but not essential.

About you
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks amid competing demands and meet deadlines.
Interest in creating career development opportunities in the creative sector, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion and an understanding of the challenges involved.
Knowledge of providing safeguarding and/or access support to participants.
Good understanding of technical theatre and production roles.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are listed; however, relevant administrative experience and a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion are essential.
