About the Role
AccessPay is seeking a skilled and driven Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our platform by designing, building, and maintaining automated test solutions. Working closely with the Engineering and Product teams, you will help embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions for our customers.

We are looking for someone curious about emerging technologies and comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to support testing activities, while applying sound engineering judgment to ensure quality remains at the heart of everything we deliver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain automated test suites using C# .NET, xUnit and Playwright or Cypress
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define effective test strategies and quality standards
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast and reliable quality feedback
- Conduct reviews of automated test code and contribute to testing best practices across the team
- Identify, investigate and support the resolution of defects throughout the development lifecycle
- Continuously improve test frameworks, automation coverage and quality assurance processes
Experience
- Strong development skills in C# .NET, with experience creating automated test frameworks and scripts
- Hands-on experience using xUnit and modern UI automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress
- Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and test automation design patterns
- Experience designing, executing and maintaining test plans and test cases
- Experience performing API testing using tools such as Postman, RestSharp or similar
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, including Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software
