About the Role
Are you passionate about building software solutions and platforms from the ground up? Would you like to help drive the digital transformations in the private equity industry? We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and build one of the most important new products from the ground up, which is at the center of our technology initiatives. The Software Engineering team drives technology development and delivers cutting-edge, innovative solutions to both clients and business teams, improving client experience as well as business processes and efficiencies.

The role involves supporting the complete Software Development Life Cycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support. You will develop modular, reusable, and extensible software, write maintainable code, design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications, perform unit and automated tests, build RESTful APIs, and conduct timely code reviews.

Requirements

Experience
- Solid foundation in data structures, programming languages, common design patterns, and software engineering best practices
- Development experience in .Net, .Net Core, ASP.Net Core, and C#
- Knowledge of .NET and C# language features such as encapsulation, inheritance, interfaces, polymorphism, generics, exception handling, reflection, attributes, LINQ, and asynchronous programming
- Experience using Entity Framework for data persistence
- Experience developing software with structured logging using mature logging frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL query language, SQL database schema design, and software development accessing SQL databases
- Understanding of HTTP protocol, REST API, authentication and authorization standards
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or cURL
- Experience with Azure or AWS is a plus
- Experience using design patterns for good architecture
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills to resolve issues independently
- Experience creating unit tests to validate software components
- Familiarity with modern source code management systems such as Git
- Experience working with continuous integration and development (CI/CD) systems
- Ability to automate repetitive problems and tasks

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
