The Avigilon Alta Video UI team is responsible for the mission-critical infrastructure powering our Video Management System (VMS). We are evolving our platform to support deep-tier interconnection across the Motorola product portfolio. Our team values high-performance engineering, architectural integrity, and building the most reliable real-time tools in the industry.

As a Software Engineer (Frontend), you will analyze, develop, and maintain software for our products and systems. You will build tested, maintainable code, implement state management patterns, and integrate APIs to support a scaling ecosystem. You will collaborate with other teams, communicate effectively, and contribute to continuous delivery practices including CI/CD and Git.

We prioritize engineering fundamentals over specific libraries, though our stack includes Vue 3, Pinia, TypeScript on the frontend, and Go on the backend. You will have the opportunity to work on resilient, scalable systems and contribute to a codebase that is continuously improving through code reviews and learning.

Experience
2-5 years of software engineering experience with knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and ideally modern frontend frameworks.
Understanding of application state patterns and data flows (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, or Redux) and reactivity/observables.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and websockets.
Solid understanding of web development principles.
Good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
