The Avigilon Alta Video UI team builds mission-critical infrastructure powering our Video Management System (VMS). We are evolving our platform to support deep-tier interconnection across the Motorola product portfolio. Our team values high-performance engineering, architectural integrity, and building the most reliable real-time tools in the industry.

We use Vue 3, Pinia, and TypeScript on the frontend and Go on the backend, but prioritize engineering fundamentals over specific libraries. We seek a developer skilled in navigating logic, managing state, and building maintainable solutions.

In this role, you will analyze, develop, and maintain software for our products and systems. You will develop, validate, and test maintainable, tested code, implement state management patterns and API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem, and have a basic understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment using Git. Collaboration with other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions is essential.

Experience
2-5 years of software engineering experience with knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and ideally modern frontend frameworks.
Understanding of application state patterns and data flows (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, or Redux) and reactivity/observables.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and websockets.
Solid understanding of web development principles.
Good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Basic understanding of CI/CD principles and Git.
