Qureight’s mission is to accelerate clinical trials and ensure breakthroughs in lung and heart disease reach patients without delay. Our AI-powered data and imaging curation platform enables the analysis of clinical imaging and other healthcare data, helping our customers bring treatments to market faster. We are seeking an early-career or graduate Software Validation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will help deliver the highest quality products to our clinical trial customers while meeting regulatory requirements. You will contribute to the testing and validation strategy across a Python backend, Next.js front end, deep-learning vision models (PyTorch), and a Terraform-managed EKS environment on AWS.

Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing testing strategies across Qureight’s integrated software stack, including automated unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests
- Ensuring all functional, performance, regulatory, privacy, and security requirements are tested to an acceptable level prior to product release
- Managing test runs, identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects
- Participating in software design reviews to ensure requirements are clear, concise, and testable
- Contributing to the improvement of automated processes producing traceable artefacts
- Attending sprint planning and stand-up meetings to stay updated on new feature development
- Supporting risk-based computer systems validation (CSV) to ensure compliance with clinical trial, quality, and regulatory standards, particularly Good Clinical Practice and GAMP 5 (training provided)
- Proactively suggesting improvements to enhance product quality and working practices
- Staying up to date with the latest best practices, testing methodologies, and frameworks

Experience
- Industry experience in software testing, preferably for a cloud-hosted product suite, through previous roles, internships, or projects
- Experience validating Python-based software stacks; familiarity with systems including machine learning components is advantageous
- Skilled in common test frameworks and tools such as pytest, Playwright, Selenium, and experienced with CI/CD tools (we use GitLab)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills

Qualifications
- It is a bonus if you have experience or knowledge of software validation in a regulated industry (our platform is developed under an ISO 13485 certified quality management system and GxP-validated following GAMP 5 methodology)
- Familiarity with formal Computer Systems Validation/Assurance methodologies, e.g., GAMP 5
- A degree or degree-equivalent in a relevant scientific or technical area such as computer science or engineering is beneficial but not essential
