As a Solution Architect, you will work on projects with public sector clients, helping to deliver Solirius’ services to the highest standard. You will collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to design business solutions that delivery teams will implement. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will use your experience and judgement to resolve complex technical and architectural challenges aligned with client needs.

You will proactively manage escalations and take ownership of delivering effective, scalable, and secure solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to practice development by creating and updating architecture artefacts, liaising with other Solirius practices, and mentoring junior members.

In this role, you will identify and shape new business opportunities, working closely with stakeholders across client organisations to understand strategic objectives and deliver value-driven outcomes. Strong communication skills and a consultative approach are essential, as you will influence both technical and non-technical audiences, lead and mentor technical teams, build consensus across diverse stakeholders, and foster collaborative, cross-functional environments.

Your role requires innovative thinking, applying best practices and emerging technologies to solve complex business problems in creative and pragmatic ways.

Experience
- Extensive stakeholder engagement and senior-level communication, including C-suite interaction
- Proven client-facing and consultancy experience
- Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, resilient technology architectures
- Strong track record designing and delivering end-to-end data and application architectures in enterprise environments
- Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical architecture modelling
- Deep understanding of large-scale distributed systems and integration patterns
- Experience designing solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, and compliance
- Broad knowledge of system security, operating systems, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise data management

Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or equivalent
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and management
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies
- Strong expertise in data architecture and design (conceptual, logical, and physical)
- Knowledge of modern integration technologies and patterns such as event-driven architectures, service mesh, and API gateways
