About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner with the world's leading Telecommunications companies on their most ambitious cloud transformation journeys. You will address diverse problem domains including Enterprise IT Modernization, Data and GenAI, Cybersecurity, 5G monetization, digital customer journeys, OSS/BSS transformation, and cybersecurity. Leveraging the full breadth of AWS services—including AI/ML, edge computing, IoT, and advanced analytics—you will craft innovative solutions that tackle real telecommunications challenges.

As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with customers, internal AWS teams, and AWS partners to deliver tailored solutions addressing the unique challenges of information and operational technology in telecom customers. You will act as the single-threaded owner of the AWS technology strategy for your customer and account team, driving AWS adoption and connecting technology with measurable business value. This role requires balancing risks and trade-offs while encouraging risk-taking to maximize your customer's business value of AWS. A long-term strategic mindset about business, product, and technical outcomes is essential.

A typical day involves understanding customer business objectives and designing solutions that are cost-effective, secure, and sustainable. You will work closely with Account Managers, Partners, and Support teams to delight customers and build and publish external-facing content.

Experience
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Background in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering, or DevOps
- Experience and literacy in GenAI
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries is preferred
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud is preferred
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective is preferred

Qualifications
