About the Role
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Sound No.2 to work on the West End production of The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov, adapted by Conor McPherson and directed by Ian Rickson for the Harold Pinter Theatre. Duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Sound No.2 on a first-class West End production. The successful candidate will support and deputise for the Head of Sound, ensuring the sound design is maintained and the production runs efficiently and smoothly. This role requires working calmly and efficiently under pressure with strong organisational and time management skills.

Contract Type
Fixed term until Saturday, 9th January 2027, subject to two weeks’ notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/BECTU Agreement.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role on a large-scale or West End production is essential.
