About the Role
You will undertake advanced, holistic physiotherapy assessments and formulate comprehensive treatment plans for service users with complex mental health and physical health problems across several specialities and settings. You will be confident in completing musculoskeletal and neurological assessments while clinically reasoning your decisions. You will lead and manage the older people exercise class and be involved in data collection and service improvement initiatives. The role requires working in a fluctuating demand environment, so you must be highly organised and self-motivated. A high level of resilience is essential to manage the social and emotional components of the role. Support will be provided by the Head of Physiotherapy and the wider Trust. This is a wonderful opportunity to further develop your therapeutic, communication, and clinical reasoning skills. Informal visits are encouraged and questions are welcomed.

Experience
A high level of physiotherapy experience and knowledge is essential, gained through rotations at band 5 and 6 level across a variety of physiotherapy specialities. Confidence in musculoskeletal and neurological assessments and clinical reasoning is required.

You will be highly organised, self-motivated, and resilient to manage fluctuating demands and the social and emotional aspects of the role. You should be committed to service improvement and able to lead exercise classes for older people.

Qualifications
Registered Physiotherapist with relevant professional qualifications and experience appropriate to the specialist role.
