About the Role
The Specialist Support will provide advice and support for Autistic Young People (YP) in mainstream secondary schools. The role involves working with both groups and individual students. The post holder will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies that enable progress and promote the effective inclusion of Autistic YP. Additionally, the Specialist Support will provide support to school staff by modelling activities and sharing effective practice. This role is integral to fostering an inclusive educational environment where Autistic young people can thrive.

Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Autistic Young People.

Qualifications
Additional relevant training or a relevant qualification appropriate to the post, such as an LSA/TA certificate, would be desirable.
