This role offers the opportunity to join the Specialty Finance & Fintech Investment Team, working on cutting-edge projects with exposure to the venture capital community and broader private equity industry. You will contribute to building and managing investment portfolios, gaining visibility into innovative fintech companies and specialty finance markets.

Primary responsibilities include developing cash flow credit models, underwriting and executing whole loans and credit facilities, building comprehensive financial models, interacting with investors, supporting due diligence of loan originators, and pricing securitizations using tools such as Intex and proprietary models.

Requirements

Experience
3-7 years of Tier 1 buy-side or sell-side experience in investment banking, securitization banking, asset-based finance, asset-backed securities portfolio management, or asset-based lending. Extensive trading experience using Intex and interacting with market participants is required. Proven experience within securitization markets and analyzing specialty finance companies and their assets is essential.

Intellectually curious, resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work collaboratively in a demanding and dynamic environment.

Qualifications
Quantitative degree preferred in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, computer science, or related quantitative disciplines. Excellent technical proficiency in Excel/VBA is required; database and programming skills are a plus.
