About the Role

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Sr. Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist focused on High Performance Computing (HPC) and Advanced Compute technologies across the UK and Ireland. You will be part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Core Services and Advanced Compute team, driving revenue, adoption, and growth by working closely with customers developing HPC solutions in areas such as CAE, CFD, EDA, complex quantitative trading algorithms, and ML-enhanced scientific computing.

In this role, you will own the GTM strategy and execution for HPC and Accelerated Compute in the UK and Ireland, collaborating with sales, partners, marketing, and specialist teams. You will engage with advanced customers and software vendors to optimize price/performance and scale-out capabilities on AWS accelerated compute instances. You will also partner with AWS service teams, partners, customers, and research institutes to ensure AWS remains the premier platform for HPC clusters and advanced workloads.

The role involves leading cross-functional initiatives to expand markets and accounts, developing scalable programs to drive adoption, and identifying new opportunities. You will deliver business reviews, operational planning, and leverage customer data and market signals to influence AWS product and service development. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for building data-driven businesses that solve complex customer problems.

Experience
- Developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
- Professional experience in business development, sales, consulting, or related fields
- Developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at an organizational level
- Managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
- Working with Core Cloud Technology Services such as Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and Networking
- Solving technology problems in the Global Financial Services and Energy & Utilities industries
- Experience with Advanced Compute technologies including Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and IoT
- Working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies such as Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations
- Experience with Data & AI technologies including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and Storage
