About the Role
At Amazon, we strive to be Earth's most customer-centric company, empowering our people to think like owners and solve problems right the first time. The Operations Trust Team manages privacy for the Operations (Ops) organization, ensuring individuals are never surprised by what data we collect, process, and share. We aim to delight regulators with the quality, transparency, and accuracy of our privacy documentation.
This role serves as a privacy subject matter expert collaborating with business, legal, and technology stakeholders to ensure privacy documentation is accurate, complete, and transparent. You will lead privacy initiatives including drafting and maintaining Records of Processing (RoPs/ROPAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and managing privacy documentation programs at scale. You will also conduct AI risk classifications, complete access and deletion assessments, automate privacy processes, and analyze metrics to improve the program.
As a leader in this role, you will apply global privacy regulatory and operational expertise to embed consistent customer experiences across Ops, work closely with internal stakeholders to integrate privacy considerations into projects and decisions, and maintain a strong understanding of evolving privacy regulations and industry developments. You will perform operational deep dives to identify privacy risks and mitigation measures, prepare internal documentation such as executive reports and standard operating procedures, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
If you are passionate about privacy, innovative leadership, and driving privacy excellence in a complex global environment, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.
