About the Role
Amazon's Tax Services organization is building the next generation of solutions to shape how we calculate, collect, and invoice tax information as one of the world's largest collectors of online indirect taxes and fees. Our mission is to ensure Amazon has the right technology and processes to remain accurate and adaptable in a rapidly changing business and tax environment. As a Sr Product Manager - Technical (Sr PM-T), you will join us in London to help build the future of the Tax Services document printing product, responsible for generating billions of critical documents annually, including tax invoices, commercial, and transport documents.

In this role, you will identify and execute opportunities to build high-impact solutions and features that meet customer needs and drive business growth. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, solving complex and ambiguous problems with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. This position requires clear and compelling communication at all levels of the company and a data-driven approach to measure business impact by linking inputs to outcomes and working backwards from customers.

You will influence the development and execution of feature roadmaps aligned with product strategy and vision, make prioritization and trade-off decisions balancing customer experience, scope, and time to market, and collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and business partners. You will develop detailed user stories with acceptance criteria based on customer needs and business requirements, define and analyze metrics to measure product success, and own end-to-end delivery of product features.

A typical day involves a mix of meetings and focused time for strategy, roadmap planning, and tactical execution. You will engage with customers and peers across product, engineering, UX, tax, and legal teams to understand needs and identify feature requirements. You will partner closely with Tax Services engineering to drive scalable technology design outcomes supporting Amazon's business and compliance needs. Your work will have a direct impact on the future portfolio of Tax Services products.

Experience
- Owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy
- Representing and advocating for diverse customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Technical product management, program management, or engineering experience
- Owning feature delivery and managing trade-offs
- End-to-end product delivery experience

About you

Qualifications
- Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight preferred
- Experience building and driving adoption of new tools preferred
- Master’s degree in a technical field preferred
