About the Role
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking a full-time, experienced Stage LX to join the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW at the Phoenix Theatre. This production is written by Kate Trefry, based on an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry and co-directed by Justin Martin, produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions.

The successful candidate will support the Lighting & Video department, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be expected to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, with strong organisational and time management abilities to ensure the smooth running of the production.

Key responsibilities include assisting with rig checks and running on-stage lighting plots, ensuring lighting is maintained to the highest show standards.

The contract is fixed term starting August 2026. All applicants must be able to commit to the full contract and have the right to work in the UK.

Experience
Proven experience working in theatre on large-scale productions is essential.
