As a Startup Solutions Architect, you will work directly with AWS startup customers to help them maximize the value of the Cloud. Positioned at the intersection of business and technology, you will engage with startups at different stages, supporting the overall technical relationship and understanding their business needs to provide prescriptive guidance on creating business value with technology.

You will have the opportunity to practice creativity by linking technology to tangible solutions and educating customers about the art of the possible. This includes producing cloud-native reference architectures for various use cases and growing your expertise in industry and technology areas of depth. You will be part of a team dedicated to startups, a unique and growing customer segment with distinct technology adoption patterns and growth trajectories.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and experts to design highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges. You will evangelize AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, and other channels.

The AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team comprises experts from diverse backgrounds, including former founders, CTOs, venture capitalists, and mentors, all focused on helping startups deploy the best, most scalable, and secure architectures efficiently.

Experience
- Experience within technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and modern AI/ML frameworks, including large language models (LLMs), foundation models, and GenAI application architectures
- Experience designing, developing, or operating reliable and scalable cloud-native solutions, platforms, and software
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to communicate technical concepts to business and technology stakeholders

Qualifications
- Relevant technical degree (Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent) or equivalent technical experience
- Preferred: Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Preferred: Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Preferred: Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
- Preferred: Familiarity with the startups ecosystem
- Preferred: Professional experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS and/or AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional)
- Preferred expertise in DevOps, Containers, Big Data Solutions, Serverless, Networking, Security, Databases, IoT, AI/ML, Cloud Migration, and IT Transformation
- Preferred experience in customer-facing roles or public speaking
