The University of Roehampton is recruiting Stock Assistants to join our dynamic
Library Services team. This is a vital role helping us to manage and maintain our stock and help support students, staff and visitors to make use of all our resources.
This role is an ideal for someone who thrives on organisation and accuracy and takes pride in their ability to multitask. The successful candidate will be proactive and able to work flexibly dependent on the needs of the day. This role would also be an excellent opportunity for any students looking to gain library experience and/or work experience during their studies.
Key responsibilities will include ordering, sorting and shelving returned physical stock, utilising basic customer service skills to answer queries from all users and accurately recording statistics for all relevant duties. The successful candidate will have ability to work effectively and efficiently both when alone and as part of a team, have good verbal communication skills and able to undertake physically demanding work.
