About the Role
Bloom & Wild is a certified B Corp committed to making long-term positive change for our community and the planet. Founded in 2013, we are Europe's largest direct-to-consumer flower business, expanding beyond flowers and plants into gifting categories such as cakes, candles, and cocktails. As part of the Procurement Team, you will join the engine room of our fastest-growing categories, focusing on the operational and supply chain foundation for our non-horticultural range, including fresh-baked treats, luxury hamper components, home and lifestyle products, and essential packaging.

As the Stock Planning Lead, reporting to the Head of Procurement & Inventory, you will architect and scale the operational procurement function, building scalable systems to support rapid growth. You will work closely with partners across the business to deliver perfect availability, optimise inventory health, and enable rapid range expansion through robust operational processes. This is a unique opportunity to shape a function from the ground up and directly impact our success as we scale.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale the non-horticultural stock planning strategy from scratch, turning rapid business growth into a sophisticated, high-performing operational machine.
- Lead your team to ensure optimal stock levels across all sites, balancing availability with minimising waste and holding costs, working closely with Warehouse teams and Strategic Procurement Managers.
- Develop and automate scalable supply chain and inventory tools, including AI workflows, to eliminate manual tasks and transition to robust long-term systems.
- Establish standardised processes and lead weekly KPI reviews to shift from reactive problem-solving to proactive inventory and risk management.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to stock planners, fostering analytical decision-making and building internal succession.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to de-risk new range launches, right-size inventory, protect availability, manage peak periods, and develop third-party relationships for excess stock management.
- Support operational execution during peak times or issues to ensure continuity.
- Manage performance of third-party warehouse partners against SLA terms.
- Build internal operational performance reporting and supplier tiering, driving initiatives to improve supplier performance.

Requirements

Experience
- 5+ years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or supply planning roles with team leadership experience.
- Proven track record in managing supply chain scalability and handling exponential SKU growth using technology and automation.
- Strong capabilities in building automated tools using G-suite and other platforms, with experience leveraging AI to enhance impact.

About You
- Strong leader and mentor, skilled at coaching team members and fostering a culture of accountability and ownership.
- Continuous improvement mindset, adept at identifying system limitations and establishing feedback loops to resolve and automate processes.
- Proactive and hands-on, willing to contribute directly to operational tasks and cover gaps during peak periods or absences.
- Commercially and data-driven, motivated by protecting margins, eliminating manual errors, and optimising working capital and cash flow.
- Effective stakeholder management skills and a passion for building scalable, high-performing teams.

Qualifications
- No specific qualifications required; focus is on relevant experience, skills, and alignment with company values.
