About the Role
Are you looking to join our set? We have an exciting opportunity to sharpen your skills and become a Store Supervisor working 16 hours per week. As a Store Supervisor, you will support the store management team by driving turnover and revenues based on lean principles. You will keep a close focus on customer service and act as an ambassador of the Ryman brand.

You will be responsible for acting as an ambassador for Ryman and the wider Theo Paphitis Retail Group by learning everything about the business and your role and positively sharing this knowledge with customers. You will contribute to making Ryman the number one High Street Stationer by providing consistently high levels of customer service and driving a culture of excellent customer service among the team. You will assist with training colleagues, ensuring all company systems are used securely and accurately, and promote high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.

In the absence of the Store or Deputy Manager, you will assume full accountability for the overall security and safety of people and property, ensuring the branch operates in line with company policies and procedures. You will motivate colleagues to drive sales and achieve KPIs, liaise with the Retail Support Centre for any issues, and support with weekly timesheets.

Experience
Passion for the Ryman brand and associated companies. Enthusiastic and driven with a focus on achieving results. Confident approach to maximising sales opportunities and handling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get stuck in. Commercially aware with a confident approach to proactively seeking sales opportunities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Dedication to learning and developing your own skills and those of your team. Flexibility towards working hours and location. Ability to problem solve and propose effective solutions.
