About the Role
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for presenting the overall look of the store, from window displays to in-store layouts, creating a strong visual and commercial impact to maximise sales. Key duties include implementing designs and plans according to the Visual Merchandising Guidelines (VMG), organizing merchandise to enhance visual appeal, dressing mannequins, installing window props, and optimising store lighting. The role requires monitoring window percentages and sales performance to adapt displays accordingly, ensuring best sellers are front facing, and maintaining high visual and housekeeping standards throughout the store.
Maintaining effective communication with the Visual Merchandiser Manager, Buyers, and stock controller is essential to stay informed about best sellers, poor sellers, and stock availability. Additional responsibilities include participating in store meetings, performing housekeeping and maintenance duties, adhering to company policies and procedures, and completing other duties as assigned by management. Familiarity with fashion trends and techniques is important, along with a willingness to travel and work from different locations as needed.

Experience
- Experience in retail and fashion is desirable
- Knowledge of luxury retail and the fashion industry
