About the Role
The AWS Data Center Supply Solutions team is seeking a Strategy & Acquisitions Associate to collaborate with various stakeholder groups to procure data center capacity, support long-term scaling strategies for AWS infrastructure regions, and manage a portfolio of critical infrastructure agreements. This role involves managing all transaction deal flow related to data center procurement projects across the region, including both Colocation and Real Estate. The ideal candidate is strategically oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and can work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
As part of the team, you will support the development and execution of contractual agreements with key infrastructure vendors, assist in building business cases for investment, and contribute to the development, presentation, approval, and tracking of long-term infrastructure scaling strategies. Proficiency in writing and communication is essential.
The Data Center Supply Solutions team plans and executes long-term scaling strategies for AWS's global data center network. You will engage with multiple internal teams and external partners to ensure successful contract execution and delivery, while maintaining data integrity in supply planning and execution systems. Additionally, you will develop and oversee continual process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and team effectiveness.

Experience
- Business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
