About the Role
Amazon's Supply Chain Managers play a central role in our global business, ensuring our complex, international grocery and highly perishable supply chains operate seamlessly and efficiently. As a Supply Chain Manager (SCM), you will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and beyond. Your focus will be on optimizing supply chains to enhance customer experience while improving energy and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities include defining the Demand Planning strategy across five European countries (UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, France) for Fresh Online and Amazon Now (Quick Commerce) Grocery banners. You will analyze and interpret data to understand regional customer demand patterns, improving demand planning accuracy and driving efficiency across the end-to-end supply chain, from inbound to customer outbound.
You will partner with ground Operations, Last Mile Delivery, and Business teams to incorporate their inputs into forecasting routines and align complex Demand Planning strategies with senior leadership and financial partners.
This role involves both proactive and reactive problem solving. You will navigate challenges impacting the network, resolve temporary issues, and contribute to strategic planning to support Amazon’s growing grocery business. Your day-to-day work will be varied, from modeling demand scenarios for new store launches to addressing operational capacity gaps affecting delivery speeds across multiple international regions.
As part of the INT Supply Chain Grocery Execution team, you will work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment that supports innovation and growth. The team incubates new ideas and develops them into mature operations, supporting Amazon’s expansion in grocery and quick commerce sectors.
