About the Role
Join the Thames Reach team as a Support Worker and utilize your understanding, compassion, and commitment to make a difference in the lives of those experiencing street homelessness. The Thames Reach Outreach teams work to help individuals who are rough sleeping find routes away from the street. You will complete outreach shifts, providing rapid responses to referrals for people rough sleeping in the borough. Your role will involve working alongside senior colleagues to identify the fastest and most appropriate routes away from the streets, providing direct support to individuals, maintaining relationships with partner agencies, and accurately recording all work completed within given timeframes.

Experience
A good understanding of working with people who have a history of rough sleeping or vulnerable adults and supporting them to access services.

About You
You should have a strong commitment to providing a high standard of service, excellent organization and time management skills, good communication skills, experience working well within a team, and a mature approach to equal opportunities and diversity in service provision.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but relevant experience in a similar role is advantageous.
