About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Broxbourne Council and teach swimming to the local community. We are seeking qualified, enthusiastic, and reliable swimming instructors to work on a permanent and casual basis, teaching children and adults of varying abilities. You will join a small, friendly team of instructors at two leisure centres, delivering high-quality swimming lessons and supporting learners to develop their skills in a safe and encouraging environment.

The role requires excellent communication skills to engage with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English. As this position involves working with children and vulnerable clients, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is mandatory.

Experience
Previous teaching experience is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications
The minimum qualification required is a Swim England Level 2 Teacher’s Certificate or Swim England Level 2 in Teaching of Swimming. A Teacher’s Rescue Award (NRASTC) is preferable; however, training will be provided to the right candidate.
