About the Role
This is an opportunity to join Broxbourne Council and teach our local community how to swim. We are recruiting qualified, enthusiastic, and reliable swimming instructors on a permanent and casual basis to teach children and adults of various abilities. You will be part of a small, friendly team of instructors with vacancies at both leisure centres. The role involves delivering high-quality swimming lessons and supporting learners to develop their skills in a safe and encouraging environment. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check due to working with children and vulnerable clients. Experience
Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not essential.

Qualified, enthusiastic, and reliable with the ability to communicate fluently in English and engage effectively with members of the public. You should be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Qualifications
The minimum qualification required is a Swim England Level 2 Teacher’s Certificate or Swim England Level 2 in Teaching of Swimming. A Teacher’s Rescue Award (NRASTC) is preferable, although training will be offered to the right candidate.
