As a Systems Engineer, you will operate and engineer systems at massive scale, gaining world-class experience in cloud computing within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
You will support the development and management of AWS services including Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps. You will work with specialized security solutions and contribute to product innovations such as Amazon S3 and EC2. This role offers the opportunity to define, build, own, and run services in a high-growth environment, solve unique problems at scale, and influence the tools and utilities that support AWS internal services.

Note: You must be a UK national and able to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Clearance.
Experience
- Working knowledge of Linux system administration with strong troubleshooting skills from application to network to host level
- Experience with systems automation using BASH, Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
- Understanding of network fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and HTTP

Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud computing concepts and design considerations is preferred
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or related systems is desirable
