Salary
£33,625 per annum (includes £30,825 FTE plus £2,800 London weighting allowance)

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join the Safe Horizon partnership team in London. This role offers the chance to make a real difference every day by contributing to change and improvement for those affected by domestic and sexual abuse. You will lead and support the operations team to deliver an effective, evidence-based service tailored to the needs of victims. Responsibilities include completing service performance reporting, auditing group quality and standards, managing people effectively to ensure excellent performance and a supportive culture, and ensuring thorough needs and risk assessments are completed and actioned appropriately.

The role involves both face-to-face and virtual support within a hybrid working model. You will be expected to work from home and from the office in Singer Street. Strong communication skills, resilience, adaptability, and a focus on customer service and care are essential. You will influence service delivery and ensure compliance with safeguarding and risk management principles.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience in group work facilitation, community support, or change management along with supervisory or management experience. Experience of direct service delivery to victims of domestic and sexual abuse or other vulnerable people is essential. Knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims in both heterosexual and same-sex relationships.

Understanding of domestic and sexual abuse, including its impact on victims and their children, and knowledge of safeguarding issues and legal responsibilities.

Strong crisis management skills and the ability to handle stressful and difficult situations.

Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of domestic and sexual violence is required. Applicants from other fields will be considered if they can demonstrate this knowledge and relevant experience.
