This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planning professional to lead on planning policy and infrastructure delivery projects that will shape the borough's future. You will play a key role in delivering the ambitious growth agenda, including preparing the new Redbridge Local Plan, securing infrastructure investment, and creating sustainable, inclusive communities.
Whether you are currently operating at Team Leader level or are an ambitious Principal Planner, Senior Planner, or Deputy Team Leader ready to take the next step, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership experience while helping shape one of London's most exciting growth boroughs.
Experience
- Significant experience in planning or a related field
- Strong knowledge of planning policy, plan-making, and infrastructure delivery
- Experience managing projects, consultants, and partnerships

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of local government finance and developer contributions
- Ambitious and motivated to contribute to a greener, more inclusive, and child-friendly future for Redbridge
Qualifications
- A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in planning or a related discipline
