About the Role
An AWS Technical Account Manager is a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers. You will have a direct impact in helping customers gain the most value from cloud technology by crafting and executing strategies to drive adoption and use of AWS services. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, while proactively keeping customers' AWS environments operationally healthy. The close relationships you develop will enable you to understand their business and technical challenges, helping them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
Our Technical Account Managers partner with a diverse range of businesses, from startups to large enterprises undergoing significant transformation. You will provide advice on architecture, support strategy, project and launch planning, as well as ongoing operational issues.
Key responsibilities include building solutions, providing technical guidance, advocating for customers, ensuring AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity, developing trusting relationships, driving technical discussions on incidents and risk management, consulting with stakeholders from developers to C-suite executives, collaborating with AWS teams, proactively identifying opportunities for customers to gain additional value, solving diverse problems during cloud migration, and uplifting customer capabilities through workshops and enablement sessions.

Experience
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in at least three of the following areas: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, applications development in a distributed systems environment
- Experience in technical engineering

Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings preferred
- Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environments as a technical lead preferred
- Previous roles such as technical account manager, consultant, solutions architect, platform engineer, systems engineer, or cloud architect are advantageous
