About the Role
Amazon is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to support our Data Center infrastructure growth initiatives. The TIPM will lead cross-functional teams to drive the implementation and deployment of data center expansion projects to meet the demands of our rapidly growing business. You will lead multi-discipline, highly technical physical infrastructure project teams through all stages of the Data Center development lifecycle—from initial site due diligence through construction and into operation.

The core role is to deliver capacity for our customers by developing delivery programs and working closely with stakeholder teams to identify risks and resolve issues, ensuring programs are delivered on time and within budget. You will partner with various teams including Real Estate, Energy, Design Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, and Operations to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key responsibilities include breaking down large, complex projects into manageable pieces; clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams; managing end-to-end program delivery from pre-contract design to final handover of Colo, Hybrid Colo & AWS Leased/Owned Data Centers in the EMEA region; managing interfaces between internal and external stakeholders; building and maintaining delivery programs, risk registers, and project budgets; working with Capacity Planning, Energy, and Real Estate teams to develop build strategies; supporting continuous process improvement; regularly reporting to senior leadership; and managing risks, opportunities, actions, escalations, and communications.

A day in the life involves working with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to keep AWS global infrastructure running smoothly, delivering the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for customers. You will experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Requirements

Experience
- Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance

About you
- Strong communicator both written and verbal
- Ability to lead multi-discipline, highly technical physical infrastructure project teams
- Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders at various levels and locations to drive alignment
- Comfortable with up to 25% travel within EMEA
- Motivated to support continuous process improvement and share knowledge across teams

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical discipline preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure programs from design through to operations handover
