About the Role
We are seeking a talented Technology Internal Auditor to join our International Consumer Banking (ICB) Internal Audit team at JPMorganChase. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the organisation's governance and operational excellence. As an independent function, Internal Audit provides risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight to protect and improve the firm. You will be based in London and work closely with regional and global audit teams to execute audits evaluating the control environments of ICB Technology businesses. This highly visible role offers exposure to senior executives inside and outside Internal Audit.
Utilizing cutting-edge audit technology, data analytics, and sound judgment, you will contribute to evaluating and improving governance, risk management, and controls. Key responsibilities include supporting end-to-end execution of technology audits, applying data analytics and AI-enabled tools, communicating audit observations clearly, building productive stakeholder relationships, adapting to shifting priorities, proactively identifying emerging risks, and taking ownership of your self-development while fostering a culture of integrity, respect, diversity, and innovation.
Experience
Internal or external audit experience in financial services, with exposure to technology or IT general controls auditing. Experience supporting evaluation of control adequacy and effectiveness in a technology environment.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Awareness of core technology concepts such as cloud infrastructure, application controls, databases, networks, access management, and software development lifecycle. Working knowledge of data analytics tools such as Excel, Alteryx, or similar.
Preferred qualifications include progress toward or completion of relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Google Cloud Digital Leader. Familiarity with coding or scripting (e.g., Python, SQL), cybersecurity controls, cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP), distributed technologies, digital banking products, fintech environments, and automated auditing tools is a plus.
