You will be part of a friendly team of eight Housing Officers managing over 4,500 properties across Kingston. The team works collaboratively with residents, colleagues, and partners to ensure communities are well managed and supported.
As a Tenancy Services Officer, you will be responsible for managing a patch of approximately 750 homes. The role requires ownership, responsibility, flexibility, and collaboration to achieve top outcomes for residents. You will demonstrate a “can-do” attitude based on empathy and excellent communication skills, helping to build strong working relationships within the Housing Services team and across the Council to support a ‘One Council’ approach.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of KPIs, targets, and electronic data reporting to monitor and benchmark service delivery. The Council values employees who thrive in an agile, networked organisation and who provide housing services that reflect residents’ needs.
Experience
Housing or tenancy management experience is essential. Knowledge and understanding of the Housing Regulator’s Consumer Standards is required.

You should be confident engaging with a range of stakeholders and comfortable working both in the office and at housing surgeries across the borough. The role requires working on-site four days a week and one day from home due to high demand.
Qualifications
Level 2 or 3 qualification from the Chartered Institute of Housing is essential.
